Marketing Intern
Join XMDS, a technology group founded in 1998 with 160 professionals from 35+ nationalities across offices in the Netherlands, Germany, Serbia, and Sweden. XMDS consists of two main components: Ximedes and XPP. Ximedes develops custom payment software, while XPP is the umbrella organisation for our SaaS products: Pecunda, KUARIO, Ginger, and Vayapay.

Whether it's custom-made software or SaaS products, we provide smart payment solutions that perfectly match the specific needs of these sectors.
As a Marketing Intern at XMDS, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our distinct brands. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will support the marketing team in various capacities, including content creation, social media management, product marketing, event management, and operational activities. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with a passion for marketing, a flair for creativity, and the desire to gain hands-on experience in a vibrant and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Contribute to content creation, including blog posts, graphics, and multimedia content.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand messaging and objectives.
Assist in the development and execution of social media strategies for XMDS’ brands.
Create engaging content for various platforms, fostering brand awareness and audience engagement.
Assist in market research, competitor intelligence, and customer insights.
Support in planning and executing operational aspects of events, both virtual and in-person.
Assist in coordinating logistics, attendee engagement, and post-event follow-up.
You are pursuing a Bachelor or Master study in a relevant field such as Media/Marketing/Communication/Business Studies, with an interest in B2B marketing
You know how to prioritise, are not afraid to take ownership and can work independently. At the same time, you also know when to ask your team for help.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Familiarity with social media platforms and a passion for staying updated on industry trends and changing algorithms
Basic understanding of positioning, messaging, content creation, and multimedia production.
Having work experience in a relevant field or environment is appreciated
You are available for at least 5 months from September 2025 and for a minimum of 36 hours a week
Experience with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Canva is a bonus.
A monthly internship allowance of €600 based on 40 hours
